Planned Giving

Planned giving is a unique way to support nonprofits like Our Kids.

Below are several ways you can remember Our Kids through your estate plan, followed by links to sample documents. There is no minimum requirement.

If you have any questions about planned giving, contact Executive Director Sue Fort White.

1. Life insurance option

You could simply designate Our Kids as a partial beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Even a small percentage of your life insurance could make a great impact at Our Kids. To designate Our Kids as a beneficiary, simply contact your insurance broker to request a designation form.

2. Estate option

You could update your will to include Our Kids as a partial beneficiary of your estate. A legacy gift is an excellent way to ensure that Our Kids can continue to provide services to children in the Middle Tennessee area.

3. Retirement plan option

You could designate Our Kids as a beneficiary in your retirement plan. You will need to contact your plan administrator to find out exactly what forms you will need.

Other options

There are many other options your financial or legal advisor may recommend, including gifts of stock, establishing charitable trusts and gifts of other appreciated assets.

We thank you for your time, consideration and generosity.
