In response to the Duggar family revelations, Our Kids recently spoke with WSMV Channel 4 regarding sibling-on-sibling child sexual abuse.
The facts:
- 10-15% of cases evaluated at Our Kids involve sibling-on-sibling abuse.
- Typically this involves a brother or stepbrother molesting a younger female sibling, but it can also include same-age siblings and same-gender siblings.
- In a small percentage of cases, sisters are the alleged perpetrators.
